Project: A31 Magherafelt Bypass

As part of the new bypass around Magherafelt, three new roundabouts were formed where the new bypass intersects with existing roadways. This included site clearance of these areas, reduced excavation of the roadways, all associated drainage and service ducting, kerbing, landscaping works and bringing up levels for new roadway. A large degree of these works were carried out under traffic management restrictions, as the existing roads had to remain live at all times, with the finishing works carried out during road closures over weekends and during the night.
